A wood-burning lakeside sauna with a terrace is freely at your disposal. In addition, an authentic, large Finnish smoke sauna (up to 10 people at a time) is available upon request, pre-heated for €200.
The marked nature trail starts right from the yard. The path runs through spruce forests, bogs and old-growth forest, partly on boardwalks. Along the route there is a kota hut and a campfire site.
Connected to the main house is a 130 m² sun terrace facing the lake and a grill shelter seating about 30 people. At the shore there is also a large sauna terrace and a separate kota hut.
Freely available at the shore are two rowing boats and two SUP boards along with plenty of life jackets. You can fish or simply row on our beautiful lake.
Plenty of free outdoor and indoor games are available on site. Guided activities are offered by local entrepreneurs – we help you find the right one if needed. All services in the Jämsä area can be found on the Visit Himos Jämsä activities page.
There are no on-site food services. Ready meals are delivered by Kievari Rantapirtti. Event and conference services are provided by Lindeman Oy / Savion Hovi.

Plenty of space outdoors, an excellently equipped kitchen and beautiful lake views. Special points for the smoke sauna. There was enough sleeping space and privacy when needed, even for a larger group. Communication with the owner was effortless.

The children loved fishing, playing outdoors and boating on beautiful Lake Palvia. We have visited in winter for skiing at Himos and again in summer.
